Developing gross motor skills

Gross motor skills are larger movements using the arms, legs, feet or entire body.They are important to enable children to perform everyday functions such as walking, running, crawling and jumping.

We can run and negotiate space successfully, adjusting speed or direction to avoid obstacles.
