The Headteacher completed the DSL training on 14th October 2019 and all staff received the Safeguarding and Child Protection refresher training on 2nd September 2021. Staff and Governors have also received Prevent training and can update this regularly via the National College Training website - gaining certificates for courses completed. The school maintains a comprehensive Single Central Register (SCR) and appropriate checks are also carried out to ensure that individuals are not disqualified under the childcare Disqualification by Association Regulations. This SCR is regularly checked by the Chair of Governors. All agency staff are vetted in line with the Safer Recruitment Best Practice guidelines.
