Year 3 had a Class Assembly in which they looked at what a prayer is. In PSHE, Year 3 have been thinking about listening skills. We talked about how it feels to be listened to, as well as how it feels when we are not being listened to.

We made some rules to help us show good listening behaviour.

  1. Listen to the person who is speaking.
  2. Don’t speak over others and take turns.
  3. Hands and bodies still.
  4. Look at the speaker.

Then, we practised using these rules.

In P.E. we have been practising different ways to throw a ball, as well as our catching skills.

Science - We made 'sedimentary sandwiches' to learn how rocks are made.

Golden Rules - Year 3 have been thinking carefully about the golden rules and what they look like in our classroom.

Today Year 3 have been drawing self-portraits.
