Term 5
This term in music we are looking at musical contrasts.
We listened to the same song performed by two different artists and thought about similarities and differences in the way these sounded, using a Venn diagram.
Term 4
In music this term we have been learning about music from other countries. We learned to sing a song and thought about how the instruments work together to create a composition.
We then had a go at creating our own composition.
Term 3
In music this term we have been learning about pitch and rhythm.
We learnt to read musical notes and play the notes on the xylophone.

In music we created our own compositions using a graphic score (picture symbols to stand for different sounds).
We thought about the instruments we could use to make each sound.
