Term 4
In Term 4 we have been learning to play Hockey.
We started off by learning how to hold the hockey stick safely and correctly. We then learnt how to move the ball around a small space close to us.
Term 3
In PE this term we have been learning different skills, such as pencil rolls and mirroring.
We are learning about gymnastics this term in PE.
We practised balancing on different points of the body.
We balanced using one, two, three and four points of the body.
We tried hard to stay still in our balances!
This term in PE we are focusing on dance.
We practised moving to a count of 8, listening to the beat of the music.
We pretended to be jungle animals, holding a pose for a certain amount of counts and then moving like that animal.
Then we worked with a partner.
Our PE focus this term is games.
Mr Lodge is working with Mr Borman to teach us about football and netball.
We are working hard to develop skills such as dribbling, passing, striking, defending and pivoting.
