We learned about the story of Creation. We drew some of God's creation.

On our last week, we listened to The Easter Story and we did retell the story by sequencing the pictures. We finished the lesson by trying some hot cross buns

On our fourth week we learned about the ascension. We watched a video of Jesus going to Heaven a we discussed how the disciples felt when Jesus left them and how they would feel if someone special for them such as mum or dad would leave them. They expressed their ideas and feelings through a drawing.

On our third week this term we learned about the Resurrection. Jesus died on the cross for all of us and the cross has an special meaning for Christians. We wrote some messages on our crosses and decorated our display with them.

On our second week this term we have been learning about the last supper, a feast Jesus celebrated with his disciples. We decided to celebrate our last supper as Jesus did having bread and juice.

Today we have been learning about Palm Sunday. We watched a video of Jesus entering Jerusalem and we role played the story.

We are learning about another miracle Jesus performed. He brought Lazarus back to life. We talked about dead and if it is possible to bring people back to life. We approached this concept using rotten fruits and asking the children if we can make them alive again. Then the nursery children did an activity about the lesson.

This week we are learning about Jesus and the storm. After reading the story in The Bible, the nursery drew a picture of the person they would ask for help in case of an emergency.
