Parts of a Plant
The Reception class is learning about the parts of a plant. The pupils are using the Busythings program. They match the label to the parts by dragging the word to the box. They check whether they are correct by clicking on the check button at the top right side of the screen. Finally they are given a score.

In Computing, the class played the Tree Keys of the Busythings program. They are learning the letters on the computer keyboard.
Chinese Dragons and Lions
We designed a spaceship using the Busythings program.
Our new topic is space. Our Space Station and space shuttle is popular with the astronauts and aliens too!
Santa paid us a surprise visit in class!
Computing / Snowman
In designing their snowman, the children use the paint tools to draw him or use the snowballs to build his body out of snow! Then they add eyes, a nose and mouth, and a hat and scarf to finish him off. The children are learning to control the mouse by dragging, scrolling up and down, enlarging or reducing the size and flipping a picture.
H, T & Z worked together in making a dinosaur world.
The Angel appeared to Mary (Annunciation)
In RE, The Reception class was learning about the time when the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary telling her the good news.
In Computing, the children used the 2Simple program to colour an angel. They explored using different colours, tones, textures and different tools such as the spray and different sizes of brushes.
