Term 3: This Term's Art focus was on self-portraiture and drawing techniques. The Year 5 children followed the lesson sequences shown in the pictures to produce a brilliant final piece each.
Term 2: In preparation for our R.E Trip and 'stain glass window' project, Year 5 revised tonal, complementary, secondary and tertiary colours using colour wheels. They then designed their own religious artwork.
Term 1: We explored abstract art and used collage to create block colour self portraits. No same colours could be touching. Here are some of our finished pieces!
