Keeping Healthy

We are extremely proud of our Healthy Schools London Silver Award. In order to achieve the Gold Status, we need to ensure that our children are very physically active in and outside of school, particularly during the holiday periods. Also, packed lunches must be healthy and meet the Government standards.

STARS is a programme introduced by Transport for London to recognise schools' achievements and to encourage further development of School Travel Plans.

Schools can work towards bronze, silver or gold accreditation.

The 3 levels of accreditation require schools to demonstrate different levels of

good practice and travel behaviour change.

The children and adults are extremely excited about 'Table Tennis' and the 'Greenhouse Sports' partnership. The children really enjoyed being a part of the lunchtime club.

Congratulations to our Year 4 atheletics team who represented the school at the Sports Hall athletics tournament. There were 9 schools taking part in the competition and our school came 3rd overall. This is an excellent achievement with some outstanding performances.
