This term we are programming Beebots. We programmed the Beebots to get as close as possible to a tower without touching it or knocking it over.
We predicted the forward instructions, thinking about the size of a ‘Beebot step’, and then programmed the Beebots, ‘debugging’ if we needed to. We repeated this with the tower at different distances.
This term in Computing we have been learning how to control an on-screen sprite.
Using the program J2Code, we created algorithms to send our sprites on different journeys.
We learned how to 'debug' any errors and to keep testing our programs until they worked.
