In English we are learning about the features of non-fiction books.
We worked in pairs to find some of these in different non-fiction books.
We found features including the contents page, the glossary, headings and sub-headings, captions, fact boxes, bullet points, bold text, diagrams and labels.
In English we read the story The Storm Whale by Benji Davies.
We hotseated the main character, Noi, to help us understand his feelings and actions at different parts of the story.
We practised writing questions using question marks and tried to answer in full sentences.
