EYFS Statutory Educational Programme:

Developing a strong grounding in number is essential so that all children develop the necessary building blocks to excel mathematically. Children should be able to count confidently, develop a deep understanding of the numbers 1 to 10, the relationships between them and the patterns within those numbers.

We are learning to recognise and name 2D shapes through printing activities.

Building Towers with Blocks: Counting One More Than Any Number Up to 10.

Ordering numbers 1-10!

We are exploring height by measuring ourselves and others in our class to see who is shorter or taller!

We are learning to use positional language, such as, behind, below, in front, under, next to, and between.

We are learning to copy, continue, and create repeating patterns using colours and shapes. We continued patterns on a long strip of card to create headbands, and some of us even designed headbands using our own unique patterns!
