Term 2: Working out the volume of cubes, cuboids and irregular 3d shapes by counting cubes. Year 5 used cubes to help them work out the number of cubic cm.
Term 1: As part of their Maths unit on measurement, Year 5 measured each other in cm and converted it to mm.
