EYFS Statutory Educational Programme:

Children’s personal, social and emotional development (PSED) is crucial for children to lead healthy and happy lives, and is fundamental to their cognitive development. Underpinning their personal development are the important attachments that shape their social world. Strong, warm and supportive relationships with adults enable children to learn how to understand their own feelings and those of others.

Term 3: Keeping Safe

NHS nurses visited our school to discuss the importance of eating healthily and exercising to keep our bodies strong!

The school nurse showed us how to keep our teeth and mouth healthy!

Term 2: Valuing Difference

Our theme for PSHE is valuing differences. We brought in pictures of our families and shared them. We discussed how every family is special and the similarities and differences that make each one unique.

We're making new friends and having fun together!
