This term's talk homework was all about which TV programme we would like to be in and why.
We shared our favourite characters and enjoyed answering questions asked by our friends.
We wrote speeches about our favourite animals and presented these to the rest of the class.
It was really interesting to learn some facts about all the different animals liked by the children in Year 2 and why they particularly liked them.
In English we read the story The Storm Whale by Benji Davies.
We hotseated the main character, Noi, to help us understand his feelings and actions at different parts of the story.
We practised writing questions using question marks and tried to answer in full sentences.
