Term 2: RE Trip to St Cyprian's Church. We walked to St Cyprian’s Church to observe and study how the architecture of the church, the statues and stain glass windows reveal beliefs about the Christian narrative. Using our previous understanding of the history of stain glass windows, we made observational drawings about details we noticed, religious symbolism and elements of the Christmas story.
Term 2: Year 5 visited the floating classroom and learned about how canals and water ways transformed the lives of those in Britain throughout the 1700's. We did a local study about a bridge that exploded, explored change over time in little Venice and tried on some replicas of traditional clothing worn by 'canal people'.
Term 2: We had an amazing time at Winter Wonderland!

Term 2: To celebrate Black History Month we performed a dance inspired by 'The Windrush' Generation's journey to the UK.
Term 1: Here is us on our Geography Field Trip to Broadly Street Gardens. We explored what change looks like in the local area.
Term 1: Our first visit to CCB's new library! We learnt how to take responsibility for looking after the books and chose our first reading book of the year.
