Halloween

Nursery class listened to Room on the Broom, Funnybones and Meg and Mog stories. The children learnt about Halloween traditions, and practised using some Halloween vocabulary such as pumpkin, witch and skeleton. Then the children played with the Halloween resources (eg a pumpkin, cat mask, spiders and themed playdough cutters) during freeflow. They loved painting the pumpkins then washing them in the water tray! Finally, Nursery class made a paper plate pumpkin to take home.
