We learned about partitioning the same number in different ways.
We worked with a partner and used Dienes equipment to help us do this.
We have been learning about fractions of numbers and shapes.
We made 'pizzas' to help us understand fractions including one half, one quarter and three quarters.
Our pizzas also helped us to see that one half and two quarters are the same.
We learned about 3D shapes and their properties.
We looked at the 2D shapes that make up the faces of 3D shapes.
We worked in pairs to create nets and built some 3D shapes from these.
In maths we have been practising ordering numbers.
We worked in pairs to turn over number cards and place them in ascending order.
