PE
Term 3: In P.E. this term Year 5 focused on Basketball and Hockey! They worked hard to improve their passing, dribbling and defending skills in both sports, working towards playing small attacking and defending games.
Term 2: Dance! This term we have been working hard to create group dance pieces, including: counting and moving to beats of 8; creating freeze frames; practicing canons and even doing lifts!
Term 2: We began our Dance unit and used the theme 'Superheroes' to begin creating movements to fit a piece of music.
Term 1: Netball! We learnt how to 'pass and move', pivot, chest pass and shoot!
Term 1: Netball! Receiving and passing the ball.
Term 1: Football. We learnt to receive and pass accurately, defend and move into space. We progressed to playing 3 vs 3 games.
