Term 2: Happy Being Me - As part of Black History Month, Year 5 studied Rosa Parks and the significant impact she made in America fighting for racial equality.
Term 2: Kind Conversations - Year 5 role played scenarios and adapted them to show positive or negative listening skills. The class stopped the freeze frame and gave advice to the characters when they were negatively listening and, when the scenario was positive, they reflected on why that was.
