Planting Potatoes and Parsley!
School trip to Junior Citizens at the London Transport Museum!
08.11.21: We discussed different types of discrimination people face, as well as the 'Equality Act of 2010'. We used this to create scenario drama's in groups that explore what we can do if we see discrimination.
01.11.21: We started our new topic 'Valuing Differences'. Here is us writing definitions for vocabulary we are going to need this term - 'diversity', 'stereotypes', 'discrimination', 'equality', 'respect' and 'differences''.
Negotiation and Appropriate Compromise: We completed some activities that tested our ability to compromise and work towards a mutual solution. We had 1 minute to organise ourselves into different categories! Then we reflected on what helps and hinders negotiating skills.
