Science
This term we are learning about plants.
We went out into the playground and made careful observational drawings of the plants that we found.
We had to look extremely closely and include as much detail as possible.
We have been learning about different kinds of habitats, including microhabitats.
In pairs we created a scene to show one of 4 habitats:
ocean, desert, arctic and jungle.
We researched some of the living things that might be found in that habitat and then presented our work to the rest of the class.
In Science our topic is Living Things and their Habitats.
We learned the difference between things that are living, things that are dead and things that have never been alive. We learned that there are certain things called life processes that all living things do.
We went out into the playground to identify things that are living, dead and never alive.
