This term we are learning about materials and their uses.
We explored using different actions - such as 'squashing', 'bending', 'twisting' and 'stretching' - to try to change the shape of some everyday objects made out of different materials.
We talked with our partners about the properties of the materials and which were easiest to change.
This term our science topic is Animals, Including Humans.
As part of our learning this term, we learned about the importance of exercise, hygiene and having a balanced diet.
We carried out some different exercises and talked about the changes that happened to our bodies.
In science this term our topic is Living Things and their Habitats.
We learned about the life processes carried out by living things and then went out into the playground to explore things that were living, dead or that had never been alive.
We found lots of examples of things from these three groups.
