Term 2: Here is our investigation in action!
Term 2: Continuing our learning about forces, we explored how creating more or less friction can be used to slow or speed up travelling objects. We conducted a class investigation as to which surface would create the most friction.
Term 2: We explored the effects of Air resistance acting on objects, deciding which size and material would make the most suitable parachute!
Term 2: We learnt about the Scientist Isaac Newton and explored the effects of gravity acting on objects, converting our measurements to Newtons.
Term 1: Over half term, we did some fantastic research projects about a chosen planet in our solar system!
Term 1: The Solar System! Watch and see how the planets rotate and orbit in a heliocentric model (including Neptune, Uranus, the Moon and the Asteroid belt)
