We enjoyed the multi-sports morning at Regent's Park.
We had a go at lots of fun activities to develop our PE skills.
Thank you Mr Harris, Coach Maria and Donna for coming with us!
We joined in with some of the activities that were happening in our local area to celebrate Chinese New Year.
We each decorated a wind chime.
We loved watching a traditional lion dance!
We got to stroke the lion and tried to catch the lettuce when he spat it out.
This happens because the Chinese word for "lettuce" sounds similar to the word for 'wealth'. The lion spits the lettuce at the audience to give them prosperity.
As part of Black History Month, Don Rae came to teach us a dance.
The theme of our dance was the school value 'responsibility'. For part of the dance, we followed a 'leader'. This helped to remind us that we should set a good example to others through our actions.
We really enjoyed rehearsing and performing our dance, as you can see!
