Would you like to go to the moon? Think of 10 things you would like to take with you. Write these words on the sheet provided for. Carefully listen to the beginning sound of each word and the other sounds that follow. Parents/carers, the children are learning to write words using their knowledge of letter sounds. Let them say the word, listen to these and use the Phonics cards or desktop chart to help them remember the letters. Do not tell them the exact correct spelling. They need to to work out the sounds themselves.
