Our Christmas Fair will take place on Thursday 20th December from 3.15-4.15pm in the main school hall. Fun activities for the whole family. There will be carols, delicious food, drinks, games, raffle, lucky dip, Guess the name of the teddy, Guess the name of the doll.
Please bring lots of change as most things will be 20p, 50p and £1. All the money raised will go towards enriching the curriculum and further developments to the playground. ‘Merry Christmas’ will be attending with her Christmas elf and there will be lots of opportunities for taking photos.
There will also be a photo booth and fancy dress. We look forward to seeing lots of our parents at the Christmas fair.
On Wednesday 19th December, Year 4 and 5 will be going to the Shaw Theatre to see a production of Beauty and the Beast.
Year 3 and 6 will be going on Thursday 20th December.
The children will be travelling on the underground and will need to bring a packed lunch to school in the morning. School uniform must be worn on these days.
Thank you to all those parents who have already sent in their Christmas Gift Bag donation the last day, if you would like to donate a bag will be Thursday 20th Dec.
Each class will be holding individual Christmas parties in their classroom on Tuesday 18th December. You should have received a separate letter asking for particular items to bring for your child’s party. The children can wear their own clothes on Tuesday.
Year 6 will need parental permission to stay after school for Popstarz disco. Please return the reply slip sent home today.
On Monday 17th December, EYFS and KS1 children will be watching a pantomime of Treasure Island in the hall.
Parents are warmly invited to join us at the Advent Service on Thursday 13th December at 9.30am. This will take place at St Paul’s Church in Rossmore Road.
If you would like to join us, please meet us at the church.
Year 1 and Year 2 will be presenting their Christmas nativity on Wednesday 12th December. Parents are warmly invited to watch the performance at 2.15pm.
If you arrive early, please kindly wait outside in the street until the doors are opened.
We will be having our Christmas lunch on Tuesday 11th December. Packed lunch children have been invited to join in.
We will also be wearing our best Christmas jumper instead of a school sweatshirt.
Children are expected to wear their uniform with their Christmas jumper.
Nursery parents are invited to come into school from 9am on Tuesday 11th December to make Christmas crafts with their child.
Please sign up on the form in the Nursery cloakroom area if you are available to attend. Younger siblings are also most welcome.
