  • End of year assessments

    Fri 26 Apr 2019

This is the term when we carry out our end of year assessments; there are just two weeks until Year 6’s KS2 SATs and other year groups (including KS1 Sats in Year 2 and KS1 Phonics in Year 1) will be held in June. Further details will be sent out to each year group individually, but please remember that it is vitally important your child arrives in school promptly each day so that they do not miss any of the teaching in this final term. Thank you to all our parents who continue to support the school.

Please continue to support your child with homework, as the testing period will be coming up over the next few weeks.  The Spelling Bee is continuing and will take place at the end of the summer term, so please ensure your child is working hard to learn their spellings.

  • After school clubs

    Fri 26 Apr 2019

    After school clubs

Summer term After school clubs begin on Monday 29th April 2019.  Please make a note at home which clubs your child will be attending on which days, to avoid having to call the school to check.

Please also make sure that your child/children are collected on time when the clubs finish at 4.15pm.

  • Parents evenings

    Fri 26 Apr 2019

    Parents evenings

Parents’ evenings will take place next week beginning Monday 29th April when you will be invited to meet your child’s teacher to discuss their progress in school.  Please keep to your appointment times and let the class teacher know if you are unable to attend.  It is important to meet your child’s teacher to discuss his/her progress so please ensure that you are prompt in arriving so that you do not miss your allocated time.  Please avoid bringing younger children to the meetings as you will need to ensure that they are supervised at all times.

  • Easter Bonnet/Hat Competition

    Fri 05 Apr 2019

On Friday 5th April we are asking all the children to make an Easter hat/bonnet at home using their imagination and artistic skills, and wear it to school.

There will be a prize for the best original design in each class, so encourage your child to start working on their design now.  There were some wonderful creations last year.  The judging will take place in the family assembly on 5th April.
