School Harvest Service
Our school harvest service will take place on Thursday 11th October and our parents are welcome to join us at 9.30am. Each class will be given a letter requesting specific items to bring to school on the 9th and 10th October.
In celebration of Black History Month, Don Rae will be working with Years 4, 5 and 6 on dance performances that celebrate diversity. Parents are welcome to come and watch the performances at 2.45pm on Wedneday 10th October 2018.
The school photographer was in school yesterday taking individual class photographs. All the children have been given an order form with a unique number. To view your images, please go on-line and enter your unique code at www.activephotographic.co.uk.
Black History Month
In celebration of Black History Month, Don Rae will be working with Years 1, 2 and 3 on dance performances that celebrate diversity.
Parents with pupils in Years 1, 2 and 3 are welcome to view the dances at 2.30pm on Wednesday 3rd October.
Secondary Transfer for Year 6 pupils
There will be an e-admissions session in school on Thursday 4th October from 2.30-3pm in the ICT suite. This will help parents to select their secondary school preferences online.
Please come along if you need help with your application as Douglas Shaw (WCC Admissions manager) will be on hand to help.
Nursery parents who are applying for a Reception place for September 2019 are also welcome to come to this session.
We will be fundraising on Friday 28th September to support the Macmillan coffee morning. We will be holding a Cake sale after school so come along and buy some delicious cakes, biscuits and treats from 3.15pm on Friday.
If any parents would like to bake or donate any cakes, please bring them to Mrs Riley in the morning.
After School Clubs
Clubs start on Monday 24th September from 3.15pm to 4.15pm. Please check your Parentpay account to see what clubs your child has been allocated. Payment should have been made by Thursday 20th September. If you do not have a Parentpay account, please see Mrs Riley in the office.
Jeans for Genes day will be on Friday 21st September. The children (and staff) may come to school dressed in jeans or anything denim and pay £1 towards this very important charity.
