  • After School Clubs

    I am taking this opportunity to inform you that we have had to increase the cost of our after school clubs. We have been lucky up until now to maintain the cost. However, the new charge for the whole term is £15

    per club and £25 for Activity club for two days or more.

     

    Clubs start on Monday 24th September from 3.15pm to 4.15pm. Please check your Parentpay account to see what clubs your child has been allocated. Payment needs to be made by Thursday 20th September. If you do not have a Parentpay account, please see Mrs Riley in the office.

     

    The club lists will be displayed in the playground and in the Reception area on Monday 18th September, so please check which clubs your child will be attending.

  • Meet the teacher

    Now that the new term has started and the children have settled into their new classes, we would like to invite you to meet your child’s teacher. These meetings have been arranged as follows:

     

    Years 1, 2 & 3 – 19th September – parents to go straight to the classroom at 3.15pm.

     

    Years 4 & 5 – 20th September – parents to go straight to the classroom at 3.15pm.

  • Events at St Paul’s Church

    Fri 14 Sep 2018

     

    On Saturday 15th September, 7.30-9.30pm, there will be a fish & chip supper and family disco at St Paul’s Church Centre. Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for children. All proceeds will go to St Paul’s Church Roof fund. Tickets are available at St Paul’s Church Office or from the school office.

     

    There will also be raffle tickets available on the evening.

  • After School Clubs

    After school clubs start on Monday 24th September. The forms will be sent out on Tuesday 11th September and returned to school by Friday 14th September.

     

    The club lists will be displayed on Monday 18th September. Details of how to pay on Parentpay for your clubs will be stated on the lists.

  • Asthma & Allergies

    We would like to remind all parents, if your child suffers from Asthma or any allergies that requires an Epipen one must be in school on the first day back.

     

    Please see Mrs Riley to complete a medication form.

  • School Uniform Reminder

    Girls: Blue and white striped or check dress or grey skirt/pinafore, navy blue cardigan or sweatshirts, black shoes. Please ensure that shoes are totally black.

    Boys: Grey short trousers, white polo shirt and navy blue jumper or sweatshirt, black shoes.

     

    For modesty the girls may wish to wear cycling shorts (not leggings) underneath their summer dresses. These MUST NOT show beneath the hem of the dress.

     

    You may order your items of uniform on line at www.stitchdesign.co.uk. You will be asked to create an account. If you require any help doing this, please speak to Mrs Riley.

  • Summer Fun day – Wednesday 18th July 2018

    All children must be collected at 2pm to enjoy Fun Day

    This year we will be holding our Summer Fun Day on the afternoon of Wednesday 18th July. Children may wear their own clothes. All children should be collected at 2pm by an adult to go to the Fun Day. (This includes those children who usually walk home alone).

     

     

    There will be a bouncy castle, face painting, games and refreshments and many more stalls.  There will also be a cupcake competition which parents can enter.  Please bring your cakes to school on the morning of Wednesday 18th July. 

     

    A prize will be given to the winning cupcake design.

  • Nursery Graduation

    On Tuesday 17th July the Nursery will be holding their graduation ceremony at 10am in the school hall. Parents of the children who are graduating from Nursery are invited to attend. There will be no nursery on this day for the children who will remain in the nursery in September.

  • Year 6 End of Year performance of the ‘School of Rock’

    On Friday 13th July, Year 6 will be presenting their end of year performance of the ‘School of Rock’ in the hall. We are very lucky to have the support of Don Rae from D.R.A.M.A. who has been working with Miss Desmarais to direct the performance. Year 6 parents are invited to watch the performance which starts at 2.00pm. Please arrive by 1.55pm to be seated in the hall for a 2 o’clock start. This will avoid distracting the children while they perform.
